Rare Kramer set, with baguettes in a never seen “”grape” color. Look closely, the color is not amethyst, but a deep purple “grape”. The very kind lady who let me “re-home” ( Leanne’s term) this beautiful set told me she had collected Kramer for 15-20 years and had never come across another set using these colors. Sure, we see Kramer “red & ice” , “green & ice”, but this is a rarity indeed!
Pristine condition too!
ENJOY!
UPDATE! I found an ad with nearly an identical set dating 1951!
Fantastic, very nice. The baguettes are special.
Woweee, Wowser ! Gives the allure of a 1940's movie star goddess !~
Eileen, agree with everyone how gorgeous this set is!! The deep grape color is stunning and design - Classic!!
Holy brilliant baguettes Eileen!!
This set is wonderful. I love the shapes but of course, but purple (the best colour ever) in big lots of baguettes is the wow factor!
Eileen, these are sooooo stunning! I’m sure you were happy to “rehome” them :)
Stunning ! You always have such interesting pieces . Oh and your name is gone under loves :-)
Thank you Ken for loving my Kramer set. The design is quite different from anything I have seen before...great minds think alike!
Elizabeth, You are so right, baguettes are special! Thanks for loving!
Phil, the 1940’s is my favorite era of fashion. They really knew how to dress back then, right?
Thank you for your kindness, and loving my Kramer set.
Foseatme, thank you so much! It is quite an eye catcher, right?
Mary, I do believe this set is from 1951, as I found an ad with these “swirl” brooches. And yes, it was the color that had me at first sight.Thank you for the loving, my friend!
Karen, made me laugh! These baguettes are something though, right? The deep purple and design, well as you said, wonderful! Thank you so much!
MrsT. This is the first set I have bought in quite a while. With Christmas, and Grandsons, well, you understand. Now it’s my turn! Thank you for always commenting so kindly on my pieces!
Esther..., thank you for the stopping by! Your comment is much appreciated!
Mani, Your comment means a lot to me, and thanks for the heads-up. I have to stay off my phone when checking out CW!
Ballstonelake....so glad to have you back. Someone has to show us there’s still wonderful jewelry to be found out there...other than online! Lol
And thank you so much for all the loves, dears!!
Another great set, Eileen. You have an amazing collection. See your “rehome” comment. lol Do often prefer it; perhaps say it too often; yet seems to sometimes soften anxiety and transition thoughts, somewhat, for sellers and purchasers of beautiful pieces of jewellery.
Awe, thanks Leanne...coming from one that collects Sherman, your compliment means a lot.
A while back someone here said I wasn’t a “top collector” ( whatever that is, this isn’t a competition) and her words hurt. So thank you.
And yes, I ( like yourself) have boughten from collectors and I always tell them it will be treasured. Like my Trifari Fur Clip, the seller was very hesitant, but I put her mind at ease, and it’s still one of my favorites, though I’m a D & E collector at heart.
Good to have you back!
I love the design and the first picture says it all because the design is so much better times 3 ! Prong set of any jewels took some time and the workers were people at the time !~
