Very beautiful hand crafted wheel. There are no brand markings and has hand tooling marks. It is assembled with dows and leather. The metal is regular older steel. The whirl is older but has newer eye rings. The bobbin will not come off. The entire wheel is steady when spinning.

I am looking for the maker and approximate year. Any information would be great. I could not find anything close the the craftmanship.

This isn't very old, but looks well made.

Thank you. How can you tell that it is not old? Maybe it is Amish or just had crafted, we cannot find anything like it so far.

Wood darkens with age and this hasn't. It's religious background doesn't affect aging. It's a really nice wheel. Expertly done.

Agree with bb-- I don't see a lot of age on this. These are still made today and have appeal to crafters and hobbyist.
