These vintage mexican sterling silver earrings are so cool. Seams to be made with some kind of hard dark wood. I have never seen the same kind of earrings but other pieces that people call "desert wood" I don't know if that is right. I think they are from around the 60's. Don't recognise the mark, maybe it is AE? Any ideas are most welcome.

PhilDMorris thank you, ha ha LOL I love that wit of yours! Have never heard the song before, probably because I'm in Europe and I think you are not. I am a little ignorant about some american music :) Next time I wear these earrings I'm going to feel hot and dangerous :) :) LOL

Can you please put dimensions on these? I think they are 40's or 50's and very nice.

Possibly ironwood "a wood from olneya tesota tree commonly found in Sonora, Mexico". (northwest Mexico, southwest US) Thanks for telling me the length, makes me think 50's/60's . I am not really sure, but I love them and I am sure there's a great necklace or bracelet to match :)

Ironwood it could very well be! Or rosewood. Thanks, I love them :)
