This is a short choker lenght necklace with black facetted beads that graduates. I often think of short necklaces as more modern and therefore "younger" but in the 1920's choker necklaces were popular and was sometimes worn together with long necklaces. I don't know the age of this necklace but it could be from that time.

I’m certainly no expert, but I do believe this necklace dates much earlier.
The “box clasp” was very popular in Victorian times, and as time went on, it slimmed down some, as seen here. ( tube clasp?) Also this almost looks like jet, jet holds it’s shine and this necklace is very shiny! Is it cold or warm to the touch? If cold, it’s glass. If warm, you have a jet necklace...just my two cents...
Very lovely either way :)
I agree - seems like it's a flapper necklace from the 1920's or 30's. A beautiful glass necklace. Is this 15"? Ckoker often described from 13"-15" :)
Thank you Ms.ChrystalShip and Valentino!
Yes the clasp lookes like a tube. I feel confident it's from around 1920's and maybe 1930's. It is glass since it feels a bit cool yo the touch. It is about 18 cm in length. So that would be what, 7,08 inches?
Thank you
