This bracelet came in the lot of the brooch that I just posted. This is a clamper bracelet that is marked Hollycraft, Copr. 1957. The rhinestones go all the way around and was just missing a couple tiny ones. Hope you enjoy looking

Beautiful. I have the matching earrings but I didn't post them yet. I love the colours - they are perfect for the spring:)

Holly craft is beautiful jewelry and it’s so cool they dated their pieces. I used to have all sorts...sigh
This clamper is especially sweet, as you don’t see many of them. They are famous for their pastel stones, can spot a Hollycraft a mile off! Ha!

Eileen, I think I may have a couple other Hollycraft pieces, but nothing like this. So, is the date on this when this piece was made or have to do with when company was founded etc? Thanks for stopping by

Hollycraft was first called “The Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing Company” . How’s that for a mouthful? But Joseph of Hollywood wasn’t happy with that, and so they changed it to Hollycraft. The company started slow in 1939, but it wasn’t until 1948 they started to put hang tags on their pieces for identification. Then, in the 1950’s they started dating their jewelry with the year of production, so your lovely bracelet was made in 1957. I believe they closed shop in the very early 70’s. The pastel colors in your bracelet are the most famous colors they made :) When you see a piece with those colors you KNOW it’s a genuine Hollycraft !

MrsT - this is a really lovely clamper bracelet. I also have matching earrings and brooch.

Eileen, thanks for your research about Hollycraft. Isn't this a beautiful bracelet?

Yes Mary, it certainly is! I don’t believe I have ever seen a Hollycraft clamper! If I remember right, your lovely Hollycraft were much older..1950? Right? Probably the first year they started dating their pieces. Sure wish I kept mine. I remember using gold spray paint to bring back the gold plating on some, what an idiot! Ha! Oh, the jewelry I gave away, I didn’t even know what I had at the time! C’est La Vie!
