I spend a fair bit of time each day going through the postings of my friends here on CW. Time well spent, in my opinion: eye candy and education. I then hop on a bus or two and scour the op shops of Sydney. Sometimes I have a win as I did this week with this enamelled vase that I had seen here on CW among the collection of IRONLACE. When they posted their vase they were able to get verification from another CW member PROJECT HARRACH that it was indeed by that firm. My thanks go to them both and of course to everyone at CW for the daily inspiration !!!

This is such a pretty vase...I got mine at a nice shop called the Glass Pavilion which sadly closed in 2018. But I recently found out that the dealer has moved up to the Mountains...so hopefully he'll start a shop here...fingers crossed!

Yes, I ran into Tim at Paddo markets in late November I think...got a pink satin glass vase on that day. I bought a lot of stuff from him over the last few years & he was always finding nice things for me...the pair of big vases with applied cherries, a great Rindskopf piece, lots of satin glass, etc...

I have to admit (sorry) that I have not looked at this section before, usually sticking with Antique Tools & Hardware because that is my main interest but having a look tonight this vase is very impressive. Well done for tracking it down.
