This 2" fancy fish brooch has an orange-gold pearlized enamel scaled body and fluffy tail, with a rhinestone eye and in a goldtone setting. By Marcel Boucher ca 1960s

I adore this little brooch- it's my favourite fishy brooch from you in a while! :P The long flowing tail and fins are so perfect- goldfish like this are very elegant fish anyway, I love watching them swim- they always look so gentle and calm.

Thank you Phil for the wonderful compliment, this is one of the flashier Boucher fish, I actually had to tone down the lighting it was so sunny & bright!
Lauren I'm so happy this is one of your favorites of mine, and again you are spot on, I too think it should be called a goldfish but most of the time they just call it a fish - another possibility would be the betta or Siamese fighting fish but they are not golden.
