This is a Japanese bronze vase I picked up a few years ago, immediately thinking of Karen (racer4four). I just knew it had to be Japanese. Recently I found it was, I came across one by accident at auction, took all the info but can’t find where I filed at! Does that happen to everyone here??? I can’t be the only one that has the “CRS” thing goin on!
Karen, if you don’t know about this vase, I’d be surprised but in a few more years I might find my info and post it then for you w better pics!!!

Enjoy all! Apologies for not being able to get here very often anymore. Taking care of an elderly parent is somewhat difficult to say the least. We had a shattered but still glowing glass explode in the microwave a couple nights ago!

The shot of the bottom reminds me of my bronze base on one of mine from Paris. This looks to be top quality, no joke on that, CRS and that Japanese beauty !~
Thanks Jenni, the pic is not so good but hey, what can I say! When I saw the lamp at the thrift and for the price, I just had to get it! I haven't shown the pendant ??? I have so much I would love to share, just have not had the time and yes, the sunsets from here are amazing every night. Ya gotta be quick getting the pic at that hour though, they disappear fast!!!
Hi Phil! I have learned so much being on here about so many different things, now I may not remember a whole lot about whatever the item is, but I get it... you just get good at spotting things. I wondered if it was bronze and thought nooooo… Sure enough, it is. And I caught on to the sleek look of the Japanese style right away thanks to Karen and her collection! haha CRS is some real stuff, hope you haven't had those issues! tee-hee-hee Thanks so much for the great comment! I know nussing about Japanese bronze but I love this because of it's very Nihon shape and burnished finish. Somehow the Japanese make simple very intense.
I wouldn't have left it either and it all looks very arty with your warm lamp and the phalaenopsis.
