    Anyone have any ideas on what this telephone was for looked all over online I can't find the very similar one any help would be greatly appreciate if anybody has any ideas

      the dial on the right side resembles the dials on a military cryptograph machine.

      What exactly is a cryptograph phone

      I don't know that it is a crypto phone but the dials are the same. Cryptographic machines were used to send secret messages in code between units so the enemy couldn't read them.
