Found the perfect display case for my collection of cast iron/pot metal black and white shakers - a 1959 mail sorter. I never intended to collect salt and pepper shakers. I picked up my first set - rocking chairs - because the shakers depicted antiques. I paid a dollar for my first set, and then suddenly, I have a collection.

What a terrific display case for your adorable salt & pepper shaker sets! Some are really precious and humorous, for instance I love the "fist bumping" fire hydrants! Cute post & great collection

You can take us with a pinch of salt, but I think you have developed a serious addiction ! Are there any s&p support groups in your area ?

Ain't it funny how SO many of us never *intend* to collect any odd things, until suddenly looking around and realizing that somehow you've now got 3, or 15, or 50 (or whatever) of said 'things'...mebbe even some purposely acquired 'other thing' in which to display them so beautifully as this is...?? <LOLOL>
