Happy Valentines Day to all!!!
Native American Navajo, Dean Sandoval lives in Tuscon, Arizona with his wife and 3 young children. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on the Navajo reservation in the 80’s. Both his parents and 2 sisters are silversmiths, a whole family of very creative artists. Dean created this beautiful Kingman turquoise and sterling silver heart that I love wearing.
The Southwestern style heart is made of red Rosarita stone I purchased from an amazing artist, @jackie_oh_yes that resides in Australia. These stones are so good in person!

Hi Ken! Thank you so very much for such a great compliment! This turquoise is from the Kingman mine in Arizona. I actually only know this because of the seller told me. It's not easy placing all the different stones to the correct mines they came from. I'm on the hunt for some Bisbee turquoise tho... I am determined to find it for a steal which may take awhile, but I just know I will. Bisbee mine closed I believe in the 70's and is at the top of the most valuable list! xoxo ;)
