My late uncle found this dagger 30 years ago sticking out of the side of a river bed. It was wrapped in cloth. It appeared to have leather around the wooden holder but it dried out and perished. He mentioned it was from the war of the roses, but I have tried to do research online and had no luck! It was found next to Leeds Castle. Any ideas?

Than last for the welcome. And also thanks for the link. They look similar but shame there’s no info. May have to take a trip to a specialist museum for this one
