He's a very adorable little critter. Do you know of the Ouroboros? A snake that is depicted eating his tail? He reminds me of that in a way and given his goofy wide eyed look he might have just found out how good he tastes! He's very sweet and very appropriate for...Mardi Gras isn't it? You could have saved him for St Patrick's day too! :D

I like this one a lot. Snake and lizard brooches are my favorite beastie themed jewelry. The color combination is really interesting, too.

      Greatly appreciate the love all

Ken thank you so much for the fab compliments, I don't usually like snakes but thought this one had a very pretty head, almost like a bangle bracelet

Thanks Lauren for the super praise and info on the ouroboros, I have seen the crests and things with snakes eating their tail but never knew that name, great to learn. I agree, it does seem to be staring at its tail, and you are so right, it would have made an excellent St Patrick's post (he who chased the snakes into the sea) but I did need those colors for Mardi Gras and an Amazon rainforest animal as Brazil has just begun their Carnaval holiday that ends on Ash Wednesday, they close everything down for a week to party!

Mani thank you so much for the wonderful compliment, it is a very unusual and different piece

Thank you so much Kevin for the great compliments, I am really glad you found this snake appealing as I think it's very rock 'n roll lol

Many thanks josscee for your kind compliment I am really glad you liked this snake

Many thanks MrsT for your super nice compliment, I too love the green and purple rhinestones in this, don't think they make enough jewelry in that color combo

Lol Phil, he IS shaped like a pretzel, I was going to put that in the description but didn't know if others would notice so I went with "coiled"! Great eye my friend and on target comment

Last time I saw one of these was when I passed Cleo going down the Nile on a sunny day. She was wearing it as a tiara. She looked upset, I guess she wasn't catching any fish or something.

Scott what a fabulous compliment, thank you so very much!

Lol fhrjr2 for the fun comment, don't you know I was also thinking of Cleopatra and her asps when I saw this one!

Super thanks Scott and fhrjr2 for the kind love, it's totally appreciated guys

Thanks Alleycat for the kind comment and love, yes my favorite time of year Carnaval (Mardi Gras in America) has just ended with Ash Wednesday, and I am very excited that one of my fave samba bands in Rio got the top prize, their floats were amazing

      Greatly appreciated the thoughtful love
