I purchased this from the estate of a dear friend of mine a year ago. William Ruscoe rolled clay figurine. He was known for his glazing techniques. Here is a site about the sculptor;

Wonderful piece, it's amazing how the sculptor could convey two old friends having a beer so clearly from rolled clay, I love it
