Dark Siam and Dark Siam AB Sherman jewellery is among the most sought by current Sherman collectors. Dark Siam and Light Siam and their AB coordinates are sometimes stated to be the most “impactful” of Sherman stone colours. As a DS and DSAB set, these items fall within the categories of impactful and sought after Sherman —with the further (yet frequently discovered on Dark Siam) desired addition of japanned backing. All pieces are marked Sherman, in raised rectangular cartouches on the brooch and necklace; stamped in the metal of the earrings and bracelet. This Dark Siam with Siam AB was somewhat difficult to photograph — the non-AB pieces appeared lighter than they truly are, so I want to say that the colours of the set in the original Sherman box are closest to true, and the colours when on the black display are somewhat too light — reflection from the AB stones caused photographic “lightening” of the non-AB stones. I have added the love-ly Sherman heart to this grouping as found ... because, well, it is still love-ly February. I wear all of these pieces.
Daisy, this set is amaaaaazing! Wow!
Stunning set, totally fabulous. That piece in the first photo on top rt side with the central red stone is spectacular

Be still, my heart!
Leanne, I’m with MrsT. WOW!
The colors of these jewels take my breathe away! ! The bracelet, with the alternating navettes and chatons, the day & night earrings, the fabulous necklace, the double leaf brooch, not to mention that luscious heart... this collection of Siam Red japanned Sherman jewels are nothing short of magnificent!
Congratulations on such a treasure, and thank you for showing us!
Stunning!
Agree w/our friends - Beautiful collection Daisy - thanks for sharing and glad to hear you wear them.
Thank you, Mrstyndall. One of my favourites, and I wear it oh so gently. But my sets don’t seem to show wear just because I use them. I think previous owners must have thrown those bruised & scratched sets we see into full jewellery boxes and then given them a shake. :)
Newfld: Thank you. That piece is a heart, and then again so Sherman-comprehensive (can I create that word!) in design that it seems able to go anywhere, on anything, it seems, all year long.
Eileen: Thank you. Always so kind. I truly appreciate all your interest in the collections here. :)
valentino97: Good to hear from you. Glad you like this posting. You have kept me vigilant. Smiles.

Did you get the bracelet this Feb from B.C. ? wonderful collection !~
I think I know what you are talking about. No, this set did not come from that source. It was rehomed to me some time ago by a very nice person, as a whole, bracelet included — except for the heart brooch, which I purchase elsewhere.
My inclusion of “February” in the title — was simply because it is red, and I added the heart, and February includes Valentine’s Day.
The only thing I hate about this set is that it is missing from my collection, I see a new one that I had not seen before, esp the red and clear. nice that it has no AB'ing !
Thanks for your comments ... more, PhilDMorris.

Only the very best Sherman Siam Red for you, a sensational set in Sherman's signature colour and the bracelet is a must for a collector to have, the best of the best !~
Thank you, Phil, for viewing this again. And for your kind comments. <3
Thanks Leanne, I always say this is my favourite Sherman design for a bracelet and they made so many of them sometimes in more rare colours like this and sometimes in a bizarre rare colour which gives an uneasy feeling as then you know it is really so rare !~
Thank you, Phil. Hope all is well.
