These earrings I absolutely adore, I’ve never seen anything like them before, I bought them in a shop in Dubrovnik. The shop has it own workshop underneath the shop so everything was made on the premises. I spent ages looking at the amazing pieces of jewellery and the assistant was very informative. The earrings are made of oxidised silver with a coral stone on the stud leading to a round disk which there is gold coral branch with a blue diamond in a silver bezel. As you can see there as been a lot of work making these earrings the all earring have been handmade and hammered I just love them, very art & crafty.
I like to buy something from the countries I visit needless to say it usually ends up being jewellery. The second photo is a Coral necklace I bought in Montenegro, the assistant brought out some strings of bead from moderate prices to the over the top prices, for me it was the colour that stood out, the very expensive pieces were amazing red colour unfortunately right out of my price bracket. I asked the question to both the assistants I dealt with where did the coral come from and they both said the Adriatic Sea Italy.
The second necklace I bought in the market in Dubrovnik. I asked the girl the question where did these beads come from and she said Japan, to me if they are coral they would be Angel Skin, I was a bit dumb stuck with that answer. Saying that I looked in the shops and they were also selling Angel Skin Coral. She mentioned the silver beads and said they are traditional Croatian filigree beads, so therefore are the coral beads the real deal. I would have imagined they made the necklaces in Croatia, I must admit I love the colour.

    Many thanks for looking

Thank you MALKY, the earrings are amazing I wear them with a Michael Allen Bolton celtic style torque necklace. I hope your well in the North East I’ve heard you and the all country has had terrible weather, oh the beauty of spending lots of time in Spain. But I’m back soon, mid March I hope the weather bucks up.

Thanks Mary for your comment. I have to say my favourite are the earrings has I said to MALKEY above, they look nicer in person, I thought they would be very heavy to wear but they are very comfortable.
