    I have two unopened boxes of gold dust washing detergent giant size just wondering if anybody knows how to tell the dates on the bottom of both boxes it says 01 15 03 now does that the date I don't understand

      Most likely 1903 as it was around then.

      I agree with fortapache the company opened in 1884 and introduced Gold Dust in 1889. They went out of business around the 1930's so the only 03 they would have been selling this is 1903. I believe around 1920's or early 30's their logo became "The Gold Dust Twins". This was very popular but eventually during the 30's Lever Brothers bought them out.
