This is a favorite from my collection of EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass) cake stands. The pattern is also known as 'Chandelier'; as you can see the design around the edges and stem look like the crystal prisms of a chandelier.

Beautiful piece. Pieces like that are why I collect.

I got into EAPG collecting because of a Chandelier banana stand that I bought last year. I am looking for the cake stand because I love the pattern too. It is so beautiful.

I'm listening to Caruso and Sibelius - and it seems fitting, because this is sublime.

This os definitely one of the most stunning pieces. It's nice to finally run into my competitor:) I have collected over 300 now and my most rare, only one known, is Riverside Beaded Wave. My friend and yours, Paul K, Jr. have a lot of discussions on EAPG. I just recently acquired the butter to this patter which I am told was a rare find. Glad you're introducing people to the beauty of EAPG glass.

thanks for the comment. hope to see some of your stands posted here soon. I've kinda lost count over that last couple years and really must update my database and website to figure out what I have. Look forward to seeing your posts.
