This traffic signal cluster retired from service in 2018 and was formally located at the corner of 86th St. and Gatling Pl. Formally from the Bay Ridge community of Brooklyn. Two of the vehicular heads, produced by Marbelite, are original to the configuration and date back to 1964. A third would have existed here, but was removed by the city in the late-1970s. The 12-8-8 Crouse-Hinds/Marbelite took its place as an upgrade at that time. A great piece of New York City traffic control history, which I look forward to make operate again as it did on the streets.
