    More 'thank yous' are currently due for other stuff, but lets try to close the evening with one or two more of the 'new crap' items from the cleanout house. :-)

    This one is a nifty brown stoneware 'divided bowl' -- I woulda mostly ignored it amongst the piles of grungy plastic, but when looking closer I took a fancy to its nicely detailed logo cast into its underside, reading "MAR-CREST OVEN-PROOF STONEWARE". (with a faint "USA" under that) It measures 10" x 8" across its top, and is about 3" deep, also (oh so happily) without any chips or cracks. :-)

    And that's the full extent of what I know about it so far, not yet even having had the slightest spare moment to actually 'research' anything about it, while otherwise sorting thru/cleaning, and indeed *still acquiring* even *more* crap from the cleanout house...my truck is now about halfway outta its roof... <groan><lol>
