My mom had in her cabinet with lots of other things
I know nothing about. Any help identifying?
It is 12 inch tall & parent has child on back. It is made
From cloth & porcelain or China faces. I think straw
Inside for stuffing but not sure.

Oh one of the Holy Grail of dolls . You have a Door of Hope Mission Chinese doll. The Door of Hope, a protestant mission, was created in Shanghai or Canton, China in 1901 to help destitute children. These dolls are very sought after and carry a high value . Keep it out of light . It is made of carved Chinese pearwood. Date 1900-1949 . Fabulous ! Take good care of her and handle clothes very little .
