Did you see the mark on it?
    2. freiheit freiheit, 4 years ago

      Emmons

Founder (s): Charles H. Stuart as Emmons Jewellers, Inc. ~ 1949- 1981 -Like Sarah Coventry, this jewellery was sold at home parties. These parties had become very popular beginning in the 1950s. Acting as a distributor, Emmons soon became one of the major players in the costume jewellery industry.

Emmons jewellery was designed and made by others, and therefore looks and quality will vary.

Manikin, I hope my comment was not taken in some bad way. Referencing the “Big Bang” was meant as a good connotation since the theory of the Big Bang has to do with the rapidly expanding matter which marked the origin of our universe.
So, with that thought in mind, I meant it as a lofty compliment.
I apologize for any misunderstand otherwise.
      It’s a lovely brooch!

I almost think it looks like an insignia pin like on Star Trek. Too bad we could not communicate with it ! Gorgeous design !~ xoxo

Watchsearcher I was just joking when I said I hoped it was not "The Big Bang" as in end of world :-) . I have a strange sense of humor I guess but I surely did not take you replay as offensive I just used a play one the words . Have a great day and your welcome to stop anytime although I don't post much these days

That’s a relief that u were not offended...but I can understand now that you were thinking of “The Big Bang” as an ending when I’m referring to it as the beginning of our universe.
Your posts and comments are always interesting, btw. I probably spend way too much time looking at CW, but it’s SO interesting and hard to resist.

I own and run the largest Facebook group related to Sarah Coventry and Emmons jewelry (sister companies) and can identify that pin for you as GALAXY from 1964.
