    I think this is what that person has. Not real sure of the date. Has to be early 1900-1928 maybe? I don’t know. I like collectibles, but don’t know much about them.

      That's exactly what it is -- its actual age I'd guess just slightly newer though, 'coke bottle body' shaped tubes with octal bases like that were commonly used thru at least the late 40's plus, those made in your time frame were often actually larger in size. (and simpler in function) That "CL-14" designation on its box is its "tube number" and should help greatly to determine what its actual purpose is/was, and what sort of equipment it might have been intended for.

      Definitely post 1929, that's when RCA bought out the Victor Talking Machine Company.
