This 5"H opalescent white glass arctic fox was designed in 1980 by Paul Hoff for Kosta Boda Glass as part of his World Wildlife Fund animal series, in a limited edition

Sweet- I thought he was a little glass wolf at first but now I see he's an Artic Fox which is great. I love these animals they seem so quiet and illusive somehow, they almost seem like ghosts of the tundra? Yours makes me think of some spirit animal- he has a very lovely ethereal quality to him
Foxes can be treasured like this gorgeous one. There is a lalique fox mascot which brought over 20G a couple years ago !~

Thanks so much Lauren for your always wonderful words and insight, I 100% agree with everything you said about these beautiful "snow foxes" - yes they have a wolf or even husky dog appearance, and I just love their gorgeous fluffy white fur, they are one of the most beautiful far North animals I think. It IS a rather ethereal looking glass piece, and I'm glad someone decided to create this animal in glass
Wow Phil, I can believe it about the Lalique fox, their pieces are truly investments that continually go up in value, I am hoping to get some of their gorgeous animals for my collection but can't do the 20K lol! Thank you as ever for the lovely compliment
