On my driveway on this 1st day of SPRING -- not by a long shot in fact, as it is currently 75degrees outside and in fact humid/wet as all get out. There have been short showers today, the bigger storms (up to and including the possibility of tornadoes, *always* at least a passing concern when all the weather systems are "unsettled" like they currently are ) are supposed to move in later this evening/overnight. Cie' laVie, (or however you spell that in French?) just 'life in tornado alley'. ;-) :-) I'm sure (like always) there's a trailer park *somewheres* not too far away from here that otherwise needs "cleaned up"...?? <lol>

But anyways, all that mess in my driveway is in fact the now falling/-en blossoms from my Bradford Pear tree. (its trunk seen to the RH side of pic behind the bluish trash can) They are kinda notorious around here by themselves, being a non-native (and/or invasive) variety/species which suffers from numerous 'bad qualities', except that (apparently around 50yrs ago?) people otherwise thought they were lovely and planted the d*mn things all over the place. And they kinda are, especially that they're always the first things to burst into full bloom every spring, looking like huge fluffy white 'snowballs'. I didn't take/show pics this year when it was at its prime (a week or so ago) but think I did a couple yrs ago...??

AND NOW for a COMPLETELY different 'change of pace' with this showing. Absolutely nothing more to do with trees, flowers, storms, or anything above -- this YouTube clip shared only because, I hope, many of y'all have never seen it before, like I myself had never until last evening when the link ended up in my inbox. (no doubt it's made it to MANY MANY more today, apologies etc if necessary for that)

I was never a huge fan of the TV show "CHEERS", and this little clip from one of their early seasons (?) probably wasn't *nearly* as funny then as it might suddenly be today...no matter. LAUGHTER is one of the best medicines/cures for all sorts of life's weird crap ain't it -- and I hope this might bring an unexpected chuckle/smile to any of y'all just like it did for me...???

BE WELL, all my CW friends around the world...and HAPPY SPRINGTIME Y'ALL, too!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
