There are not many Books about one of my favourite collecting areas. I have finally managed to get all 4 Cups and Saucers books by Jim and Susan Harran. I've had the Compendium of British Cups by Michael Bertoud for a while, and it's a good source of imformation on older cups and saucers, but it's a shame most of the pictures are black and white (and no saucers!). The British Tea and Coffee Cups by Steven Goss is only a slim paperback, but I find it very informative and has good illustration.
That looks interesting!
So this is where you find your info. It’s great to have reference books. I have a few on jewelry. One main one on D & E, but I believe you can guess an era by just looking at the piece, right?
Your cups and saucers are all so pretty. I remember as a little girl, my Mother would visit a neighbor and they would have coffee, ( not tea) in these fancy cups with legs. She also had them displayed on her kitchen wall.
