Found this says goldwin on it don't know anything about the lighters themselves anybody know over there a company called goldwing or what any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there. Okay, I used to collect lighters and have sold almost all of the ones I've had so I do have a little info for you. This is a super nice set, would have been better if it had been Zippo though. But that's all good anyway. My advice to you first is to take out the flints! Try to ignite it and if it sparks, there is definitely a flint in there. They need to be removed. If it doesn't spark, that means it's already turned into dust and the dust needs to be removed as well.
Since you don't know much about lighters, there is a screw on the bottom, most likely the 2nd screw and inside there is a spring, so when you get close to the end of the screw, it is probably about 1/4" long, go slow because the spring could shoot out without you knowing and you could loose a part. If the flint has turned to dust, try to remove that dust by blowing into the hole there so that you get it all out. It will corrode and ruin both lighters. At the end of the spring there is a metal piece that will look like the flint, but it's not so don't remove that part, leave it right where it is, that part puts pressure on the flint and is supposed to be there. After you remove the dust or tap out the flint if it doesn't come out. If you feel the flint may still be in there and stuck, you can stick a paperclip in the hole from the top and push it out.
That said, this looks like a Ronson Lighter to me and I don't recall hearing of Goldwyn Lighters. Ronson used to name their lighters and maybe that's what this is. I'm not positive of that but when I looked it up just now, no Goldwyn lighters came up. Here's a link to a site and you might want to contact them and ask them about it. I know Zippo has a great site for dating all their lighters but they never tell people to take out the flints from their collections of lighters not in use. Why, I do not know but it will for sure destroy any and all lighters.
