    The back of this penny has VDB, the designer's initial. A very rare penny found in an old dresser with a few other old coins.

      One of the best Lincoln cents you could have found
      Nice condition also,,,,it had to have been from a collector

      Did you know....these were counterfeited? I think that they look at the "S" and the V.D.B. to determine if it is authentic. What a nice coin to have, congratulations.

      Most likely a fake but it looks like it has some honest age.

      The VDB is irregular in form and off center. It was added to a 1909 S penny.
