Zbyncek Votocek's company, located in Krasna 48, 468 21 Bratrikov, Czech Republic, is best known for its unmarked reproductions of Hoffman''s and Bolek's cameo designs for Loetz and their pewter reproductions of WMF glass and metal originals. They also produce some of the best contemporary Czech cameo [ See Deb and Robert Truitt's article at: https://www.realorrepro.com/article/Bohemian-Glass ] I decided to avoid the unmarked pieces, which lend themselves to all kinds of market disinformation, and concentrate on their new signed pieces. This particular example is blown from the top, 11"/26 cm and shows the continued level of excellence present in Czech cameo glass manufacture. But I have stumbled into a truly puzzling problem. I always try to have at least two of a brand; however, this is the ONLY piece I have found online!
Votocek's originals and the WMF repros are duly marked with their distinctive logo [Pic. 3] You can peruse their online site at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jonRyOjNhOg.
