"So Why Don't You Turn Me Loose..Turn Me Loose..Turn Me Loose..I Gotta Do It My Way....".
It is Loverboy, forming in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1979 with their first single from their self titled album released in 1980 on the Columbia Record Lable.
This is my favorite by them!!

    Thank You,
    Thomas.

I have to say that "Turn Me Loose" did ring any bells, but "Working For the Weekend" did, though:

'[D]id ring any bells" should have read "didn't ring any bells." Between my geezerhood and this touchy keyboard, my writing has gone to sh*t. >8-0

Great song!! I saw Loverboy w/special guest The Hooters at Biloxi Colosseum, in Biloxi, MS, back the late 1980's. I was working down in Gulfport and Biloxi at that year.
