During WW2 several diplomats did the unthinkable and that was saving Jewish lives when many others did not and sometimes against orders from their superiors back home. One such brave diplomat was Chilean representative to Bucharest, also in charge of Polish interests in the country, Samuel del Campo. Here is a special consular ID issued by him for a Polish refugee, from Bucharest 1943 and counter signed by head of refugee department working together with him Kasimir Szymonowicz.
