A lot of basket business has been going on lately. And now that we can only have a picnic in our own yard, this is a picnic of baskets.
Anyhow, aside from all that, I've always like glass baskets & plenty of them have come in out of my collection over the years.
In total, I currently have 28 art glass baskets. I feel I can attribute some of them with reasonable confidence, but most of them are unknown. I have a couple that I'm pretty sure are by Harrach, one definitely by Kralik (it's a green overshot with red applied flower) & one by Stevens & Williams (identifiable by it's very distinctive Northwood pull - up pattern). I have numerous others with applied flowers which could have been made in Bohemia or England, & five Peloton baskets - all very different & probably by different makers too.
The ones pictured here I believe to be made by Welz, though I am not 100% sure of the ones in photo 3. They share some characteristics with known Welz baskets in terms of shape, but they're a little different in some ways (just what I like).
1. Cased orange over yellow Victorian basket with an outlandish form, & a spatter basket with a peaked thorn handle.
2. Cased fine spatter in many colours, hard to see the moulded basket weave pattern, looped handle, & a green & pink spatter basket with a "star anise" shaped top rim. Moulded daisy cartouche on the sides of this one too.
3. Pink & black Tango basket, & 2 Victorian type baskets. I'm going out on a limb with these. What I will note is that the pink & blue banded basket with mica flakes has the same distinctive top rim crimp as the ochre, pink, & oxblood spatter basket in photo 1. The spatter on the other small basket is quite distinctive - pink, mauve, blue, & yellow.
4. The last of the hollyhocks - pink frills go well with baskets I think.
I've never been and never will be a 'fine glass/art glass' person (unless I'd just accidentally buy some random little bit from Goodwill for 99c that otherwise caught my eye, then later actually discover it really *is* a "something"...??) <LOL>
Nonetheless, as always your photography is superb, and I (at least) also specifically enjoy the pic of your hollyhock bloom. The world outside around me here in the southeast USA is in process of "bursting out all over" in all its otherwise pollen-laden <sneeze> springtime splendor...on your side of Planet Earth it is no doubt very different.

Yes, we are heading into Autumn pretty fast here now...today the first really big westerly wind of the season blew in & sent leaves everywhere (just after I spent half of yesterday raking/sweeping in between the rain.)
Been planting some bulbs for Spring today & generally noticing what's growing/dying back...some plants are behaving quite differently to this time last year which was a warm & dry Autumn. After the extreme heat & dryness of Summer it's been raining a lot & fairly cool.
Plus I've planted a whole lot of new plants since this time last year so it's nice to see them settling in & getting ready for their Spring display. But there's a lot more yet to be done! New garden beds to be built & new plants to go in...
Hope Spring brings you better times & I am hoping that by the time it rolls around here that things will be returning to some kind of "normal" as well...
None of us can ask for any much more than that right now, can we.
I'll be looking forward to pics of your gardens next spring there, which here will then be autumn/winter. If I manage to catch a glimpse of some "late blooming" thing around here then, you can bet I'll try to catch a few pics of whatever it is and show them...?

Also would be great to see any late bloomers from your part of the world...
I'm looking forward to a bumper Spring display having so many more plants than last year, including some rare & special ones...as may have guessed I'm a plant collector as well as art glass... :-)
Here on my side of the planet, the "predictions" <lol> are that we'll likely get an extra pretty spring season too, as there's otherwise also been more than usual rain and less than normal freezing-ish cold since last October or so, mebbe not unlike y'all...of course that also means everybody here will need a little more than usual 'bug spray' in the next couple months too... <groan><giggle>
For the immediate future anyways (which seemingly now includes much more 'free time @ home?) I've already also got a few (dozen, hundred, ??) fresh pics somewhere between my phone and computer ready to sort thru and show including more 'accidental springtime splendor' that I've happened across in the last few days...lots more fun junk from the cleanout house still to come too...

AnythingObscure, sounds great! At least we've got a fun virtual collecting world here on CW to keep us entertained...I'm sure we'll be seeing way more new posts than usual... :-)
It's getting cold tonight & we change back from daylight savings as well this weekend (good - I actually don't like daylight saving at all). Got a load of firewood last week & we're all set for a nice cold winter staying cosy at home & getting busy in the garden while the weather's fine!

So true, Thomas...we tried last weekend (unaware of the new rules) & found the couple of picnic grounds that we drove by (extremely remote ones, too) closed. Luckily we had our own folding table & chairs with us & set up in a non designated area by the side of the road. No one else around, no problems! But the yard will have to suffice for the time being, which is fine by me...
