This I acquired at an estate sale of a veteran. Obviously it is signed by the artist Wayne L Davis. I dont know if it has a title. I did contact a gallery that shows his works but haven't received a reply. Mostly I am trying to decipher what war this depicts. Secondly, at first I assumed the watercolor drip marks were from aging or getting wet. But then I started wondering if this is intentional due to the theme of the painting....well anywho, I just wanted to share this exceptional piece of art. Do check out the details...even the pilot appears to be looking towards the painter, do you agree? Thanks for looking! Trish

Muchas gracias Fort Apache!! I truly appreciate the info. My Father served in Korea. I am hoping to find a good home for this painting. Afterall, this type of art deserves respect. Hope you are doing well. Trish

      Agree Korean War era.

The drips looks like water staining. A photo of the back may confirm.
