I bought this huge square cake plate off Ebay recently. I have plenty of round cake stands, but no square ones, so I have acquired this. It was described as vintage? It is 11" across and 7" tall. I hadn't realised the base was on crooked until I took pictures of the underneath! Any help?

skewed pedestals like this are quite common; of course it's really noticeable on square stands. For me vintage is a useless term unless it has a date included; tho' I understand some folks think it means things around 50 years old. This is an antique and is EAPG. The molds moved around a bit after the original factory burned. So it's attributed to: Campbell, Jones & Co. as their #83 'Diamond' c1883; followed by Jones, Cavitt & Co.; U.S. Glass Co. (1891-1920); Diamond Glass Co., Ltd.; Jefferson Glass Co., Ltd. (1902)
