    An antique collector told me this was a Roseville, or Rosenthal (I cant remember) and trying to figure out if this is a collectors piece or common.

      Definitely not Roseville and doesn’t look like any Rosenthal I’ve ever seen. Mark is distinctive, you might try a google image search of the mark.

      Rolf Overberg Keramiks Is the closest that I could find for a similar bottom mark, but it's not exact, the spiral starts square but turns into round:
