This is a rare leather sewing machine made by Singer, it belonged to a shoemaker, it was sent to the trash when he died, fortunatelly i saw it being carried to the trash and saved it, im still thinking on what to do with it, probably it will replace my current Singer Turntable console seen in the last pic, i hope you enjoy it like i do.

      Lata,

I was reminded when I saw your comment on Nan24's diorama post that I owe you a backfill on this post. >8-0

I hope you still have those beautiful Singer model 29 treadle irons.

      The Singer model 29:

      That beautiful decal:

      NB #20 Industrial
Used on: Models 15, 29 + Many Industrial Models
      Recorded use: c.1884 - late 1920's

Like its domestic cousin the Featherweight (and other Singer models), the model 29 is a movie star.

It puts in an appearance in "Murder at the Gallop" (1963) in the scene starting at around the 42:45 mark when Miss Marple (Margaret Rutherford) and Hector Enderby (Robert Morley) come back to the riding lodge. They go into the tack room so that Miss Marple can help the injured Enderby take off his riding boots:
