Ornate scissors and letter Opener set. May or may not be a true set. Marked JA Henkels Solengen. Has the "twins" logo on scissors. Letter Opener has no markings. I think 18th century. Haven't found anything really similar on internet.

Nice! But not a pair. Different designs.
The letter opener looks Moorish. (to me!) Or like a Persian rug. The shears look like Toledo, Spain damascene.

The scissors are German and the twins design has been around since the 1700’s I believe but the design on those didn’t start until 1900.
