Hi all, been missing everyone but Miss Daisy has had some trouble lately and my time has been very limited. I just saw this pic and decided to share it. From the late 80's, I know it's not near Christmas but I love this photo!
On the left is my daughter on my moms lap,
On the right is me and that's my son. He's going back to Afghanistan in a few days and UGH!!! At least he is not on any front line, his work is in helicopter sheet metal as a specialist. Keeping our troops in the air safely. He also works on F18's. So proud of both my kids!
I don't know how the many before us could stand it without the technology we have today. I can't imagine sitting waiting to see if I got a letter in the mail. That would drive me to the padded room, no doubt. It's hard enough as it is!

Awe, thank you so much Jenni! I knew I posted something, but I couldn't remember what and saw this and just fell apart! Today is moms bday and she's hanging in there. Boy I'll tell ya, this is a year I will be hoping to erase from my memory soon!!! You are appreciated! ;)

Thank you so much Phil! Everyone does look sincerely happy, I just adore how my daughter is looking at me ;) That alone make me smile with so much joy and 30 yrs later, she still looks at me like this and lucky for me, so does my son! My girl just had surgery on her ankle, 8 or so pins and a plate! I'm tellin' ya... I don't even want to say anything else, I feel like I'll be jinxing myself!!!

Hiya Karen! I'm good! It's so strange wearing masks everywhere. I'd be in heaven if I were a thief! Lol. Whenever I see someone turn around heading back to their car I just chuckle cuz you know they're pissed off. We've been told we were gonna be on lockdown again, but it's not happened yet. Makes you wonder how long this will last and how are the youngsters gonna even be attracted to each other. We've been heading towards segregation for a long time now and it's here. I don't even wanna ask what's next?! I certainly hope that next year will only get better! Happy holiday's to you and yours way over yonder! xoxo
