Along with the photo of Squirrelly Squirrel Posing in my Wild Post, earlier today I took a video of him, eating some Peanuts. With that post Jenni(Newfld) said that he looked like he was posing, with his arm hanging down over the top of the fence, like that, and I said that he was! Thanks Jenni! These photos are the poses! :^D
1st photo he was in the front yard, when I first saw him Today, and he climbed up to the top of the fence, turned and posed.
Next he walked the top of the fence until he got to the backyard, stopped laid down and hung his arm down, and I took the photo in the first post, then he walked the fence 3 more feet, laid down and hung his arm down, that's the 2nd photo here, and then he did it one more time, and I took another photo, not posted though.
3rd photo is after he got up turned around, walked the fence to the gate, and climbed down to our brick walkway, and walked towards me, for another photo opp.
and last he got a Peanut that I tossed to him, and let me get 3 more photos, and a Video of him eating it! :^D
These were all taken from 4-8 feet away, and he never ran, and didn't leave until I went back in the house. He's not a pet, but he knows where he gets his food! :^D My Wife said that she would put Peanuts along the top of the Fence, for the Squirrels, that could be one of the reasons!

Thank you for looking, and all comments are welcome! Take Care, and Stay Well! :^)

No animals were hurt in any photos taken! :^D

Bill this squirrel is totally a star, he is the perfect photo op! Love the third pic where he is walking toward you, his eyes look very alert and quite expectant of his treat :) Thanx for brightening my day with these great nature pix, hubby & I have been mostly housebound with all the NY mandates but they are reopening some parks and we can't wait to see some fellas like this guy again

Darn squirrels! I love em but can't keep off my bird feeder. I have to get a stand alone pole I guess.

Yes he is Jenni, thank you for your great comment! :^D This morning Shorty stopped by for some Peanut Snacks, he somehow lost over half his tail in early Fall last Year. He was when it happened, and it stunted his growth, so he's a little smaller than the other Squirrels that stop by, and a little Shy too, but the Fur on his tail is longer now so I changed his name from Stubby, Shorty now! :^D

Yeah Rich, there's much you can do, to keep the Squirrels away from the Bird Feeders, they finally lost interest in the Finch Seed Sox, not really the kind of Seeds that they're looking for. They don't go after the Window Bird feeders, but those are small, and sometimes the Birds fly into the Window, and they don't like the impression that it leaves! (:P oops! :^D

Thank you all for taking a look, and giving a love for what you saw,
MALKEY, Jenni, Stuff, Vynil, Thomas, and Rich, much appreciated! :^)

Squirrels are fun to watch.... real acrobats when it comes to raiding the bird feeders. This year, I started just putting enough sunflower seeds on the trays of my feeders to last a day at a time. So far, I haven’t had a problem with squirrels- like it’s not worth their time now.

Yeah Brian, these Red Squirrels, are East Coast Immigrants to California, I had never seen a Red Squirrel until the 1960's. I don't know when they were brought to our State, but now I see them everywhere, I guess a big problem with them in L.A. Area now. We see these, that nest in the Trees, and Ground Squirrels around here, but luckily they stay in the open grassy areas, and not digging up my Yard, the Gophers do enough of that! Thanks for your Comment! :^D

Hi Patricia, thank you for stopping by with your Comment! Yes they're all over the place in the Spring, chasing each other up and down and leaping from fence to tree, to Tree and back again, only stopping to raid the Birdfeeders. That's why I put the Peanuts out, their only competition for those are the Scrub Jays and Crows, and of course the other Squirrels! :^D

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and the love given,
SEAN, Jack, Brian, Patricia, Daisy1000, aura, and keramikos, very nice and appreciated! :^)

Love red Squirrels we have a shrinking population due the induction of grey squirrels from Canada. There are a very few places that you can see them in the UK.
      Lovely photos.

Thank you Jean, they are fun to watch! We have plenty of the Red Squirrels here in California, if I could send you some I would! :^D

Thanks for the love that you gave too! :^)

He may think he's the Boss, but Peaches, Knows that She's the Boss and that little Squirrel, and other Animals that She allows to be in Her yard, are only there for Her entertainment! :^D Thanks for your comment Eileen, that Book sounds like it would be a good one for my Grand Nieces and Nephews! :^D

Thank you for the love that you gave, Pascale, and Eileen! It's appreciated! :^)

Thanks for your comment keramikos, I only supply the Food Bank, they're on their own for Housing! :^D I did put a 4plex up years ago, and the birds used it one or two times, and then quit. It looked good to me, but it may have gotten to hot for them, or something, so I put a Weathervane on the top of it instead. It looked good for 20+ years, then it just fell down! The Pole is still there though! :^D

Thank you for the love that you gave Tim, and charcoal, it's appreciated
