    I was walking In the woods and found an old dump with car tires car parts and garbadge i found and old toolbox that was to heavy to carry back so I opened it and found this little treasure

      Welcome to CW!!! Nice lock!!! It might have had a swinging cover that went over the keyhole that was on the nub over the keyhole. Any initials on it?? As it looks similar to a railroad lock?? Again nice find!!

      Hello, Welcome to CW. Have you tried a magnet on it to see if it is steel or brass?? The green look (as I see it in the photos) leads me to think it may be brass or bronze.
