Another find from the barn that I picked. February 17th 1864 confederate 10 & 20 dollar bills. They are very thin and the 20 has a very uneven cut. I checked the serial nos. and they do not match the fake ones listed so they are authentic-- but pretty common--still cool knowing they were printed 156 years ago! They were framed when I found them and there are no visible creases. Thanks for lookin! Rob

I framed our family's only $50 Confederate. They hold history.

They are good and condition look great, but these 1864 notes were printed in huge quantities.

Bobby, the brownies are an old family recipe. (That's what it says on the box). Have a chef who takes care of all that.
My grandmother told me that the elem. school had a play(probably about 1910) and they needed a "treasure chest". My GM gave them a "trunk full" of confederate to use. At the end of the play, the money got scattered. (Tear at this point). She saved just the one $50.

I agree with bb2, they hold history and give us something to reflect on. Some things have a value beyond dollars and cents.
