I have what I believe to Be a singer, however it is much heavier than any model I’ve found before. The serial number is 407014, all painted decals have been removed or worn away with the exception of one spot as seen in photo. I believe this patch was preserved by a medallion that must have been there at some point. If this is in fact a singer then it would be from 1860’s. I have hit a dead end with my research! Can’t anyone help?
Thanks for the help! There are definitely similarities between this one and the model 15, I am thinking that it could be a semi-industrial model? That might explain the rectangular base? I will keep digging!
