This marvelous mould blown decanter set with every colour of the rainbow has an embossed threaded decor pattern and ribbons of hand painted gold accents that swirls around each piece. The decanter has an applied colourless handle with stopper, and an etched roman numeral "I" on the end of the stopper. There is a ground pontil on the base of the decanter. No two shot glasses are alike. The rim is cut and on the bottom of each shot glass has been polished smooth along the perimeter.
A number of Bohemian glasshouses produced "Rainbow" coloured glass. Maker unknown. Could be from Loetz, Moser, Kralik, Harrach. Circa. 1885-1900.
The decanter is 12" tall with the stopper.
Each shot glass is 2-3/4" tall.
