Miriam Haskell brooch I inherited. One of the few pieces of costume jewelry my mother owned. I think this is a summer piece. In the spring, the jewelry, clothing and shoes all were shown in white, navy, red and other summer colors. In the fall, the color palette changed to orange, brown, purple, and forest green. The brooch measures 1 and 7/8" by 1 and 5/8". Circa 1950s or 1960s, I think. White glass beads and brass findings.

I saw this beautiful brooch , and thought “Haskell” ? And I was right! So happy to be the first to “ love”!
What an amazing piece of workmanship, I love the “flower” beads! And the backs of her pieces are as pretty as the fronts! ( well, almost)
      Sensational piece Maureen!

Eileen, You are too funny. It doesn't appeal to the collectors' here. I love her work. Did you know she graduated from the University of Chicago?
Ken, Thanks for the appreciative comment.
Glassiegirl, I like the quirky, unique designs she made, too.
      And thank you to

Yes indeed. I admire her style and craftmanship in books and photos online. Never see them here though in real lite.
