This 1880's MM trunk was originally covered with leather but was removed due to condition, the trunk is 34 inches wide and has Taylor hardware, I stained the trunk body with a cherry stain, Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Sweet a wonderful look to it.! I love the center nails down the cross slats, you don't see that very often. Is that original? I wonder why he didn't do all the slats that way they look awesome.

Thanks Drill, The nails are something I added along with the black center on the slat, i just thought it looked cool.

Brian the embossments on the original leather in the front are quite unique and awesome to say the least.I always look for different patterns to burn, Don't be surprised if you see me burn them into a trunk someday.Hope you don't mind but those flames a hot look.

      Brian,

You know I’m hoping to find a leather covered MM someday. This thing is a beauty!! I love the black centers of the slats, and the wood color is perfect. You’ve been busy during the lockdown & turned out 3 awesome MM restorations!!
