For such a plain bowl, this turned out to be a truly a unique design and who doesn't love glass mounted in a floral metal stand?
The floriform stand is not marked. The green iridescent 6" bowl is most likely from Kralik. Circa. 1900 or after.
Thanks, for looking at my short, but sweet posting!
Wow glassiegirl you really bring these masterpieces we are not likely to ever see right to our doorstep, so to speak. I love the strict, but keeping the beauty, stand for the roses and the glass bowl is in metamorphosis, becoming its own flower. The gold of the stand is incorporated in the green bowl as we watch. Outstanding !~
Phil has answered perfectly.
I agree, Karen! You're very kind to say so. Our lovely, Phil knows how to leave you speechless with his eloquent thoughts and gracious compliments.
Phil has said it all....
Once again, thank you for sharing!
That’s how I feel about his amazing jewelry collection. He posts pieces we would never see if it weren’t for his kindness, that is what these sites are all about! ( not rudeness and constant harassment, if you get my drift)
