I have the same platter, given to me by my grandmother about 25 years ago too, funny enough, when she and my grandfather moved into a retirment comunity!
She got it as a gift from a friend...that's all I know.
I use it to set the turkey and trimmings on the table for Christmas...since the flowers look like pointsettias to me.

I just googled 'red flower glass serving dish' and someone is selling one on ebay. This seller says it's an Eames Era clear glass serving plate. I've been googling Eames Era stuff, and I don't think she is right. But check it out and see what you think?

YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SANTA CLARA POTTERY OR MARIA MARTINEZ I HAVE THAT BLACK WEDDING VASE AND IT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY THE SAME ELDERLY JEWISH WOMAN , I HEP HER WHEN SHE HAD TO MOVE AND SO SHE GAVE ME A LOT OF THINGS THAT SHE COULD'T TAKE WITH HER , I THINK IT HAS VALUE BECAUSE HER MOTHER GAVE IT TO HER SHE WAS 80 BACK THEN SO I KNOW ITS OLD AND I HAVE HAD OFFERS ON IT. AS SANTA CLARA BUT I REALLY WANT TO GET IT APPRAISED IN PERSON BY A PRO SO AS NOT TO MAKE THE MISTAKE IF IT IS MARIA MARTINEZ WOULD BE MORE VALUABLE, SOME OF HER EARLIER WORK SHE DID NOT SIGN.

Silky, I will be posting mine this afternoon, so stay tuned! I think the shape of mine is a bit different, it's flatter. Let's see if I can get it to behave for the camera.
