    Bought this sweet little lamp at a yard sale this morning. Any tips on how best to clean off the years worth of grime without taking off any of the outer colors?

      If the shade comes off, I would just use warm soapy water, maybe let it soak for a bit and use a soft cloth with a coarse nap to get into the nooks and crannies. I often use rubbing alcohol on an old T-shirt or other cloth, to clean glass that I don't want to or can't put into water.
