Does anyone have any idea about age origin or maker of this lovely piece. She is beautifully Guilded on her tail and has a very simple styalised face I can't find a pottery mark,, stamp or signature anywhere. She is hollow and I believe therefore probably skip cast using a mould and as result likely to have been produced in multiple if not mass figures but I can't find one like her on the internet

Beautiful ceramic mermaid & your photos are lovely, you chose the best angle for the thumbnail showing the gorgeous fantail, the pose reminds me of the famous Danish mermaid sculpture

I think it is one of mermaids that float on the top of the giant drinks at
Seaman Jacks place from the 60s

Thankyou very much I love her I bought her from a dealer I know but he didn't know much about her. She reminded me of Sailor Jerry and those images of mermaids and pinup girls etc ???? she only cost me £5 I couldn't not take her at that price
