Hello, CW. Here is a Coro brooch and earring set. Both are marked Coro and the earrings are screw backs. Not too sure about the date of these but they are in good shape.

What a beautiful Coro set, the floral design of the brooch reminds me of lily of the valley. Scripted Coro mark & screw backs may date from the 40s-50s

I find it amazing sets like these stay together after all these years!
Since Coro has been around since the turn of the 19th century (1901/1902), it makes it difficult to pin point a time when this lovely set was made. The Screw- back earrings give us a hint as they have been around since the late 1800’s. (1894) and were very popular up to the 1940’s. The Coro hallmark ( which there are so many!) dates from 1919. I want to “guess” this lovely set is from the 1930’s. Remember, metal was hard to come by in the 1940’s, and the clip earrings became very popular around that time. The one thing that throws me off is the pin mechanism, I haven’t a clue why Coro used this at such an early date? So who really knows, 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s. Your guess is as good as mine. One things for sure, it’s beautiful!
